Angelo was appointed Director of Marketing in 2004. Angelo has been a member of the UWS community since 1992. Angelo has worked across number areas within UWS including academia, administration and marketing. The focus of his work for past 10 years has been on branding, marketing and student recruitment.

Angelo has played a leading role in the University sector in the development of contact management and marketing information systems. He has presented papers at conferences and seminars, nationally and internationally, on the integration of marketing principles with customer relationships systems and the relationship between brand equity and customer service breakdown.

In January of this year Angelo became Director of Public Affairs and has established a centralised multi-disciplinary team incorporating, marketing, student recruitment, design, media and corporate communication, events and PR, scholarships, contact services, web, brand management, and Indigenous Outreach.

The work of Public Affairs integrates with key strategic aspects of UWS operations including strategic planning, campus development, course development, community outreach and industry and government relations.

Angelo has also played a number of key governance roles at UWS including membership of the UWS Board of Trustees, the Strategy and Resources Committee, the Campus Development Taskforce and currently is a member of the University Academic Planning Committee.
